Red & Ultra Minimum Data Set

To enable data based coordination, all EMTs are requested to submit daily report EMT Red or at least Ultara-Minimum Data Set (MDS) . (2024-01-10)
The submission of daily reports needs to be sent daily by 22.00 oPt Time. (2024-01-11)
Each EMT needs to identify a reporting focal point (email address and phone number) and communicate with EMTCC/MOH to establish the contact for further exchange of daily data. (2024-01-11)
All EMTs need to use the Red-MDS template for daily report. Teams are requested to type in data to the standard excel tool to avoid double work at the MoH/EMTCC.The template can be downloaded to your laptop PC at this link. (2024-02-04)
Daily reporting template is now updated. Ultra-MDS is intergated into the new form; so all teams are reuqsted to report by this template. (2024-03-14)
Standard option for reporting
- On daily basis EMTs submit RED MDS to EMTCC
- Submit the Excel file (not PDF nor CSV)to the coordinator.

Definition
#1 Total number of daily consultations
The number of all patients consulted by the EMT staff. Patients consulted
by MOH staff should not be included.
#2 <5yrs
The number of patients under the age of 5 consulted by the EMT staff.
#3 At-risk (disabled, mental, orphan)
The number of patients with disabilities, mental illness or psychological
disorders, and orphans.
#4 Referrals needed
The number of patients who require medical transport/evacuation.
#5 Red (conflict-related) cases
Patients with life-threatening injuries or illnesses directly caused by armed
conflict (acute trauma, burn injury, etc).
#6 Emergency surgery
Surgical procedures that are performed urgently and immediately to
address acute and potentially life-threatening conditions.
#7 Admitted cases
Patients who are admitted to the EMT field hospital or MOH hospitals
assisted by the EMT.
#8 Live birth
Number of child births count
#9 Patients with exacerbated NCDs
Patients experiencing a worsening of chronic conditions that are not caused
by infectious diseases.
#10 Inpatient severe acute malnutrition
Only for children aged 6–59 months, with arm circumference less than 110
mm (MUAC screening).
